When you check temps
with a digital ear or temporal thermometer....do you check you too?
Do you check all the kids if 1 has a fever? I catch more early stage sicknesses in the house, cause I have to know what everyone's temp is if 1 kid is sick....but I think it may be an OCD now

LOL!!! No. I only check if I can actually feel a fever. And then I don't even know why I bother since I usually let them have fevers - unless they are so miserable that they can't sleep. They heal so much faster that way - when I let the body do its job.

yep i only check if they feel really warm. I only give meds for fevers if they are 103 and higher AND the kid is miserable (sp?) because of it.

When I get the temperal therm out the kids all stand in line to have theirs checked. It's easier to check everyone then deal with a half hour meltdown.

i always check mee too, just cause i want to make sure its right on, and i would never know if i had a fever, but like michelles house, my kids all line up for thier turn, 1 or 3 times!! lol

oh and mine does ear and forehead, so i have to do their forehead and both thier ears on every kid! (remember some days there are 10 here!) lmao

I only check if they feel warm. And no, I don't check everyone else if one person is running a fever.
