Default Gretchen & Mandi (mamaofblessings)

Gretchen, I'm finally going to Aldi this weekend I hope they still have that laminator. How is the LOTW lessons going with Caden? When we get moved and settled in I'm gonna need you to tell me what crafts you did with him for the weeks you have completed by that time so I have some ideas. I'm gonna have to buy craft supplies for a month at a time since I won't be able to just run to WM anymore. LOL

Mandi, did you get time to find those links for the preschool packet you were telling me about?

I'm about to order Slow & Steady, get me ready from Amazon and a DVD that Dawn was telling me about called Meet The Letters. Do either of you have some links for organizing our schooling better? I want to be as prepared as possible once we move. lol

Aldi should still have the laminator! Mine does!
We've been stuck on C for a couple of weeks, due to some stuff that came up and disrupted. (everyone's been getting sick)
We did the creation wheel, which he is so proud of, and a lot of coloring again, and drying clay which was fun.
I found a bunch of helps at the Dollar Tree for counting and alphabet, and even some laminated wall maps for the older kids! I'll post pics later.

Oh, before I forget, I got a pack of 3 ring binders at BJs for 9 bucks, and I'm making a 'grade binder' for each kid, to help store and save all the important things we want to remember from each grade. I think that will help organize things. I went down the list in the 'what your child needs to know when' book and tore out the workbook pages that exemplify each thing to put in the binder. I will also keep papers they are proud of, tests, projects or pics of projects and yearly CAT test scores. I think that will cut down on the mess of storing all the completed workbooks....but that's my only organization, since organizing is not my strong suit.
